  • Nebraska's Junk Jaunt™ --- Last Full Weekend of September 2011
    St Paul and surrounding areas, will be participating in the Annual Nebraska's Junk Jaunt, a 250-mile perpetual yard sale. In Nebraska's heartland, where two Nebraska scenic byways converge in a beautiful loop between the Loup Rivers ( Hwy. 11 & 92) and the Sandhills Journey (Hwy. 2) Scenic Byways.   • Howard County Historical Village
    The Historical Village, located at 1005 Sixth Street consists of six antique buildings -- a church, school, store, blacksmith shop, post office, and depot. The village displays a wealth of artifacts from county history. Visit www.historichc.us for more information.

  • Museum of Nebraska Major League Baseball
    The Museum of Nebraska Major League Baseball has displays of Nebraska Baseball Hall of Famers Grover Cleveland Alexander, Wahoo Sam Crawford, Dazzy Vance, Bob Gibson and Richie Ashburn along with other Nebraska players. Call 308.754.5558 for more information.

  • Golf Course
    St. Paul Country Club— 1118 Inman Rd.
    This friendly course is suited to golfers of all abilities. The ground is level and easy to walk, and trees lend character to the course. Call 308.754.4203 for more information.

  • Baseball Fields/Softball Fields                                                 
    The Grover Cleveland Alexander Ball Field, one of the best in the state, plays host to many American Legion baseball games. Two other fine ball fields hold numerous softball and baseball games. Tennis courts are nearby and the St. Paul "Wildcats" play their football games on the field adjacent to the ball park.   • Water Park
    Swimming in the new heated outdoor municipal pool is another favorite pastime. The St. Paul Municipal Pool offers Red Cross swim lessons for children and adults, water aerobics, and swim team competitions. The swimming pool is located right next to the city park.
  • City Park
    St. Paul’s beautiful city park provides family fun with plenty of exciting playground equipment and ample picnic areas, including three picnic shelters. The park is located right off Howard Avenue in the heart of downtown St. Paul.

  • City Recreation Department
    The City Recreation Department provides organized recreation for children and adults during the summer months. Crafts, cooking, childcare classes, fishing, archery clinics, outdoor education and exploration, reading, computer classes, bus tours, and sports camps are just some of the offerings.
